My name is Amy, I'm the player behind Diziara, Spiegel, and Grace. I'm also responsible for this wiki, as I'm the one hosting it, and I'm the one who started it. All administrative crap is actually done through Q.

When you're done visiting the USS Takeda Shingen's wiki, please check out my domain Death Kitten (dot) net and my LJ.

Other RPG involvements

I have found myself a regular pen & paper gaming group again. We have regular D&D 3.5, Battle Stations, and an old World of Darkness campaigns. In D&D, I am an Elven Ranger; in Battle Stations, I'm an Avianoid pilot who also is captain of our ship; and in the oWoD game, I'm a petite Steampunk Nocker with an excessively foul mouth or a Malkavian Hacker with a Sword Fetish.

I'm the creator of the now defunct Starbase 668, also found on Live Journal. I've been known to game on IRC at times, but it's been a while since I've had a group to do that with.

I also run the child of Diziara on the USS Griffin (set ~30 years in the future, relative to this game), Amelia (url and character entry contain spoilers for this game, click at your own risk).

Other Hobbies and Interests

I am a Linux user. Both of my home computers are exclusively Linux machines. The desktop is a home built machine that's been through a few hardware upgrades over the years, originally built in 2001 with a purple case, matching monitor, keyboard and mouse. Originally with Windows 98se installed, she was switched over to Mandrake on May 3rd, 2004. The laptop was a birthday present from my ex-boyfriend, and it happily accepted her freedom from the world of Windows upon my first powering her up. Both machines are currently running Kubuntu.

I am an avid reader, particularly enjoying authors like Ray Bradbury, Neal Stephenson, Gregory Maguire, Christopher Moore, Poe, Lovecraft and Kafka. I also enjoy graphic novels, web comics and traditional comic books. My web comics reading list is long, my collection of graphic novels and comics grow slowly but steadily. My movie and TV viewing habits are less avid that a lot of my friends seem to think they should be, but while I am somewhat selective about what's worth my time, when I do find things that interest me, I tend to go fairly fangirl over them. Some of the things that have held my interest include Farscape, Firefly, Veronica Mars, Kim Possible, Invader Zim, Lord of the Rings, Watchmen, Cowboy Bebop and Doctor Who.

My music tastes used to mostly be classic rock, but in the last decade or so, I've started to explore other areas of music. Currently, I've got varying quantities of Industrial, Electronic, Classical, Musicals and Swing music mixed in with my base of Classic Rock. Bands and artists I'm strongly in love with include Babyland, Led Zeppelin, Heart, David Bowie, Camille, Queen and Nightwish (thought only their stuff while Tarja Turunen was a part of the band).
