From USS Takeda Shingen

The USS Remington (NX-58600), a Remington class Long Range Tactical Battleship, is the flagship of Starfleet's Delta Force under the command of Fleet Admiral Shar’Reen Khazara. Commander of the Delta Force missions, was originally tasked with retrieving the USS Voyager from the Delta Quadrant. When Voyager made her own way home sooner than expected, Delta Force was retasked to instead establish a base of operation out in the Delta Quadrant.

The Remington is a unique platform in itself in that it is one of the first successful hybrid platforms of both Romulan and Federation technology. The vessel is built primarily on that on that of Federation hull specs and configurations, all the while utilizing a hybrid of Romulan and Federation propulsion systems. The vessel, although containing a traditional matter-anti-matter reaction warp core configuration, also is utilizing preliminary test models of the Romulan quantum singularity power supply system as found in the D'deridex class Warbirds. The vessel also utilizes Romulan D'deridex warbird warp engine construction, featuring the warbirds warp engine field coil matrixes which have prooven to be more compatible with the quantum singularity power supply, thus allowing for higher speed warp velocities for longer durations.

Despite being only a recently promoted Lieutenant junior grade at the time, Diziara was hand picked to be a bridge officer and head of the flight control department by Khazara himself. The Admiral saw past her troubled surface and recognized the quality officer she was capable of being when those above her in the chain of command earned her respect instead of simply demanding it.

Commissioned in 2376, the Remington was the only of three planned builds of the large scale long range Tactical Dreadnought to be completed. At 1197 meters in length and carrying an impressive armament of 11 phaser banks, 8 pulse phaser cannons and 6 torpedo launchers the Remington is one of the largest and most powerful warships ever constructed by Starfleet.
