Tien Lung House is a Chinese seafood restaurant in San Francisco's Chinatown.

A favorite of Lieutenant Marla Zhu and familiar to Noelle Connor, this is one of those places that doesn't look like much, and may scare off unsuspecting guai lo. The furniture is often in poor repair, and one dines with plastic chopsticks, off of bright red formica tables. They are short on the kung pao and General Tso chicken, and rather high on the congee, claypot and chicken feet.

However, to the real connoisseur or at least the culinary adventurer, they have just about the best Chinese seafood in the city. The place is filled with a dominantly Chinese clientele, and sports several large tanks on display which house live fish, shrimp, crab, and other seafood that the establishment prepares to order.

Some specialties include:

  • Feng jiao (stewed chicken feet)
  • jellyfish salad
  • salt and pepper shrimp - giant whole shrimp (eyes and whiskers included)
  • shark fin soup
  • winter melon soup
  • braised sea cucumber
  • oysters in black bean sauce
  • bird's nest with crab soup
