Saint Vidicon
From USS Takeda Shingen
Saint Vidicon is the patron saint of technicians and engineers. His feast day is February 29th.
Given that the Catholic church is never hurting for an excess of saints, Vidicon often ends up swept under the carpet, hidden away and neglected. Those who find him often decide he's a sweet breath of fresh air in an organization that a lot of people find to be top heavy, corrupt and serving little more purpose than to keep the unwashed masses happy in their blind faith.
Spiegel has been responsible for making many engineers in the fleet aware of Saint Vidicon. The replicator pattern for rosaries made of resistors spread across the fleet once Spiegel started spreading the word.
