An artist, she met Kang when her sculpting equipment broke down right in the middle of the last minute crush of the looming deadline. When he gallantly jumped in and got her equipment up and running again in record time, there was nothing else she could said when he asked her out for a drink but yes. It caused quite a stir when she started bringing him with her to unveiling parties of her work on Qo'noS, as while the Klingon community was fine with their artist not being Klingon, they weren't so sure that she should be dating a half breed. She and Kang didn't let this get in the way of their feelings for each other, and they eventually got married. She's got a pretty solid reputation in Qo'noS now, and society has just come to accept she's dating a half-breed engineer from the private sector. This fact became easier to swallow when news of his brother Kaith giving his service to The Empire in the Klingon Defense Force, and making quite a name for himself with vallant deeds during both the Klingon-Frederation War and the Dominion War.

She is currently going through fertility treatments so that she and Kang might be able to have children despite his mixed genetic makeup.
