Delilah is Diziara's red Siamese cat. She's been Diziara's companion since the Rothmore, where she was one of a litter of kittens that were produced when two shipboard cats made it loose while the female was in heat. Diziara had been attempting to acquire permission to get a cat for a while before that, and had only finally succeeded because of the unexpected litter needing to be given homes.

Delilah is a well known escape artist, and Diziara had learned over the years how to quickly and efficiently cat-proof any set of quarters she finds herself in. There is a chip implanted in Delilah for identification and tracking purposes, using the same type of technology found in the homing beacon in a combadge, in case she does actually make it out of Diziara's quarters.
